We expect all e-participants — attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, organizers and volunteers — to treat others with respect and abide by the following Code of Conduct at all times throughout the conference. This includes all online activities and social media in affiliation with Conference of the Future (#COTF2020) before, during and after the conference itself.
Conference of the Future Code of Conduct states you must:
• Treat everyone with respect and consideration;
• Communicate openly and thoughtfully with others and be considerate of the multitude of views and opinions that are different than your own;
• Be respectful and mindful in your critique of ideas;
• Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
It also states that the following behaviors are considered to be unacceptable:
• Harassment and intimidation, including any verbal, written, or physical conduct designed to threaten, intimidate, or coerce another delegate, conference organizers, or staff;
• Discrimination based on gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, or culture;
• Physical or verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, staff member, service provider or other meeting guest;
• Disrespectful disruption of presentations.
Failure to abide by the code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the meeting without warning and potentially without refund and/or prohibit attendance at any future meeting if it is felt the future safety of delegates would be at risk.
Please direct comments, questions, and concerns to the Diversity and Inclusion Committee
